Three ways to add a cycle: 1) AutoReport (Pro) — install the desktop app, select your autoclave's report folder, and every new cycle uploads automatically. 2) Manual upload — go to Loads → New Load, upload the PDF/HTML report. 3) Manual entry — fill in the cycle data by hand. SecuSteri supports W&H Lisa, Castellini, and Anthos for automatic parsing.
Open any pending cycle and click Sign. You will be prompted to enter your 4-digit PIN to confirm the signature. Signed cycles are immutable and compliant with traceability requirements.
After signing a cycle, open it and click Print Labels. You can print all labels at once or generate a PDF. You can also print individual labels or generate an individual PDF. Labels include a QR code linking to the full cycle record.
SecuSteri automatically parses reports from Melag, W&H, Castellini, and Anthos autoclaves. With AutoReport (Pro), reports upload without any manual step. For other brands, upload the report or enter cycle data manually — we're notified and add automatic support progressively.

SecuSteri AutoReport is a desktop application that watches your autoclave's report folder and uploads every new sterilization cycle to SecuSteri automatically — no USB stick, no manual upload. It runs quietly in the system tray on the computer connected to your autoclave. SecuSteri AutoReport is available on the Pro and Clinic+ plans, and currently parses reports from Melag, W&H, Castellini, and Anthos autoclaves automatically. Other brands can still upload reports to SecuSteri manually.
Open Organization settings → AutoReport and click Set up AutoReport. SecuSteri generates a download package — click Download for Windows or Download for macOS to get a ZIP containing the installer and your configuration. Unzip on the computer connected to your autoclave, run the installer, then select the folder where your autoclave saves reports when SecuSteri AutoReport asks on first launch. From that point on it runs in the system tray and uploads new cycles automatically.
Right-click the icon any time to see status, last upload, recent history, or to pause and resume uploads. The icon color tells you at a glance: Green shield — everything is fine, AutoReport is watching your folder and uploads are working. Amber shield — attention needed: uploads are paused (resume from the menu), no folder has been selected yet, or AutoReport temporarily cannot reach SecuSteri. It will recover automatically as soon as the cause is resolved. Red shield — your account credentials are no longer valid, usually because an admin revoked the API key. Download the fresh ZIP from Organization settings → AutoReport and reinstall.
Yes. AutoReport works with both local folders and network shares (SMB or mapped drives). When you pick a network folder, validating the path may take a few seconds while AutoReport checks that it is reachable — that is normal. To handle network shares that occasionally drop or delay file events, AutoReport also performs a full folder rescan every 90 seconds in the background, so no cycle is ever permanently missed even if a real-time notification is lost.
A few reasons are normal. When you first set up the autoclave in SecuSteri, you entered its current cycle number — older cycles are intentionally not imported (you can still upload them manually if needed). Cycles already in SecuSteri (identical date and number on the same autoclave) are flagged as duplicates and are never re-uploaded. Finally, files that don't match a supported autoclave format are listed as “unknown format”. Right-click the tray icon → Upload history to see what was skipped and why. Unknown-format files are still captured by SecuSteri — our team uses them to add support for new autoclaves over time, so you don't need to send them in. If a cycle you expected is still missing, contact us at support@secusteri.com.
On the existing computer, open AutoReport's Settings window and click Delete Configuration — this removes the saved API key, watch folder, and other settings, then closes the app. You can then either uninstall AutoReport via your operating system's standard uninstall tool, or simply leave it installed and reconfigure later. On the new computer (or the same one, for a new account), open Organization settings → AutoReport in SecuSteri, download a fresh ZIP, and run the installer like a normal first-time setup.
Yes. SecuSteri AutoReport checks for updates regularly and installs them silently in the background once you have been away from the computer for a few minutes — you will never see a prompt or be interrupted mid-cycle. The app restarts itself after the update and resumes watching your folder. You don't need to do anything.
SecuSteri Print is a small desktop application that connects your local printers to SecuSteri. Once installed on the computer attached to your label printer, you can send traceability labels directly to that printer from any device — a phone, a tablet, or a laptop at home — without leaving your browser. SecuSteri Print is available on the Pro and Clinic+ plans.
Open Organization settings → SecuSteri Print and click Set up SecuSteri Print. SecuSteri configures everything automatically and gives you a password for the desktop client — click Show password to reveal it (you can reveal it again any time). Download SecuSteri Print for Windows or macOS from the same page, install it on the computer connected to your label printer, and sign in with your organization email and that password. Click Detect printers to import your printers, then assign one to each autoclave from the autoclave's edit page. Labels printed for cycles on that autoclave will be sent to its assigned printer.
You can reset your password yourself: open Organization settings → SecuSteri Print and click Reset password. A new password is generated; click Show password to reveal it, then sign in to SecuSteri Print on each PC with the new password.
Yes. As long as the computer running SecuSteri Print is powered on and connected to the internet, you can send labels to your workplace's printer from anywhere. SecuSteri Print runs quietly in the background and doesn't need to be in focus to receive print jobs.
