Tattoo studios in Austria are regulated federal-uniform under ARPTV (BGBl. II Nr. 141/2003) and ARFKMV (BGBl. II Nr. 262/2008). The Gewerbeberechtigung 'Kosmetik (Schönheitspflege), eingeschränkt auf Tätowieren' under § 94 Z 42 GewO 1994 is the legal basis.
