Dermatologists performing surgical procedures — biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy — are subject to the ÄK-Hygieneverordnung 2014 (3rd amendment 2022). Digital reprocessing documentation ensures your compliance.
Dermatologists in Austria who perform surgical procedures are subject to the ÄK-Hygieneverordnung 2014 (Hyg-VO 2014, 3rd amendment 2022) of the Österreichische Ärztekammer. § 22(8) Hyg-VO requires automatic documentation of sterilization cycles or chemical batch control plus sterile-goods labeling — the legacy exemption for sterilizers without automatic documentation expired on 31 December 2014, current devices must auto-document. Pre-vacuum cycle is required for hollow-lumen instruments (§ 22). External validation is required only on official authority order (§ 25). MPG 2021 and MPBV additionally apply, since dermatology practices are Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens.

Regulatory guides to help you understand your obligations.
Track reusable surgical instrument sterilization
Import your autoclave cycle after each procedure day. Sign the record and maintain a tamper-proof history.
QR-coded labels for instrument traceability
Print traceability labels for each sterilized instrument pack. Link them to the specific autoclave cycle.
Complements your single-use workflow
Most dermatology instruments are single-use — but the ones that aren't need traceable sterilization. SecuSteri handles the reusable portion.
These instruments come pre-loaded when you create your account. You can add, edit, or remove instruments at any time.
Melag, W&H, Castellini, and Anthos reports are imported automatically via AutoReport or manual upload. Other brands? Upload the report or enter cycle data manually — we add automatic support progressively.
