When a salon combines services with permanent makeup, micro-needling or mesotherapy, the Warenwetbesluit on tattooing and piercing applies fully to the micropigmentation activity — including the three-year GGD permit. The EU Cosmetics Regulation 2025/877 (since 1 September 2025) bans TPO and Dimethyltolylamine in professional nail products.
