This rule reduces sterilization criticality compared to tattooing or invasive dental work, but the use of reusable instruments (files, forceps, burrs) requires compliance with the general professional duty of hygiene. No specific règlement grand-ducal on podiatry sterilization exists — the framework rests on sector best practice and European standards NF EN 13060 and EN ISO 17665-1.
