In Luxembourg, acupuncture is restricted to physicians — no Heilpraktiker equivalent. For reusable needles, cupping instruments, or adjacent tools, SecuSteri documents every sterilization cycle.
In Luxembourg, acupuncture is a medical practice restricted to physicians under the Loi modifiée du 29 avril 1983 on the practice of the médecin profession. No independent practitioner profession equivalent to the German Heilpraktiker exists — practicing in a non-conventional medicine clinic therefore requires a ministerial authorization as a physician. Most practitioners use single-use needles. For reusable instruments (cupping, moxas, tuina instruments), the general professional duty requires autoclave sterilization and documented traceability, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and standards NF EN 13060 and EN ISO 17665-1.

Regulatory guides to help you understand your obligations.
Track reusable instrument sterilization
Log autoclave cycles for cupping sets, gua sha tools, and other reusable instruments. Single-use needles don't need tracking — but everything else does.
Complete traceability per session
Link sterilized instruments to specific autoclave cycles. Maintain a tamper-proof record alongside your patient files.
Simple enough for a solo practice
Most acupuncture practices are solo. SecuSteri is designed to be fast — import, sign, label in under a minute.
These instruments come pre-loaded when you create your account. You can add, edit, or remove instruments at any time.
