Piercing is regulated under the same Ordinul MS 1648/2024 as tattooing. SecuSteri gives you a digital sterilization register that's always ready for DSP inspection.
Piercing is regulated under the same Ordinul MS 1648/2024 as tattooing. All instruments entering the skin or in contact with mucous membranes must be sterile — either single-use or sterilized in an autoclave before each use. Jewelry must comply with REACH/EN 1811 nickel standards. Studios must have a dedicated sterilization area, maintain records for 2 years, and hold a valid sanitary authorization. Piercing guns are excluded — only sterile single-use needles are permitted.
