SecuSteri vs SegoSoft, Paper Register, and Euronda E-Memory in Switzerland

SegoSoft (Comcotec Messtechnik GmbH) is the best-known on-premise solution in German-speaking Switzerland, imported from the German market via dental distribution: BSI-certified as a Class IIb medical device, supports up to 300 devices via RS-232/USB interfaces, offers digital signatures, SegoLabel for barcode labels, and SegoAssign for patient-level assignment. SegoSoft was not, however, specifically designed for the Kantonsarztamt / Service du médecin cantonal reprocessing inspection under MePV / ODim Art. 71 and 72 — explicit alignment with the GPA 2022, KIGAP 2010 (status 2017), and the SSO Quality Guidelines on Practice Hygiene (2018) is not documented. Additionally: Windows-only, per-device licensed with a mandatory ServiceCard at €215/year per device, no mobile access, no cloud, dental and medical only.

Second: E-Memory only works with Euronda Pro System autoclaves. Practices using W&H, Castellini, Melag, Mocom, SciCan, or mixed-fleet setups cannot use it. Third: E-Memory is single-PC.
